The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the DCI’s IT infrastructure. This includes ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. The role involves managing a team of IT professionals, coaching future infrastructure leaders, maintaining hardware and software, ensuring the security and scalability of the company's IT infrastructure, and working with corporate departments and clinic leadership.

 

Schedule: Fulltime, Monday through Friday, on call as needed

 

Compensation: Pay range depending on experience

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

  • Oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and retirement of IT infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, cloud, voice, and data storage.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliable performance of infrastructure systems.
  • Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead initiatives to innovate and improve IT infrastructure systems and services.
  • Identify emerging technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
  • Develop project plans, allocate resources, and ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.
  • Determine current and future infrastructure needs, ensuring the scalability of infrastructure design to handle expected growth.
  • Monitor systems to ensure the highest level of infrastructure performance and reliability. 
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain, enhance, and secure the organization’s technology infrastructure.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure favorable terms for the company.
  • Oversee the purchasing of IT equipment and software, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies.
  • Track and manage IT assets and inventory.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams such as Product Development teams to ensure infrastructure and application architecture are in alignment.
  • Ensure the security of IT infrastructure by implementing best practices and security protocols.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure is kept up to date with current upgrades and patches according to vulnerability management policies and best practices.
  • Manage disaster recovery and backup plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Assist with incident response management as needed.

Qualifications

Successful Candidates Bring:

  • Experience with IT infrastructure in a large enterprise environment, including cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and M365.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of network and server management, virtualization, and cloud computing.
  • Experience with security management practices and disaster recovery planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
