Overview

Founded in 1971, Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) remains the nation’s largest non-profit dialysis provider. With a team of approximately 5,000 talented and caring employees serving across the United States, DCI provides care to nearly 15,000 patients on dialysis and 3,500 patients with chronic kidney disease. We offer a variety of services including in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis (PD). Each position within DCI, from billers to administrators to nursing staff, contributes toward the goal of providing excellent patient care. Our staff has helped DCI achieve the lowest mortality and hospitalization rates among large dialysis providers for the past 13 years in a row.

 

 

Summary: This position is responsible for all purchasing, inventory control, project management and budget for assigned clinics.

 

This position is full-time, 5 days/week, and will work in our Hospital Services dialysis program.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase supplies for all clinics in assigned area.
  • Oversee inventory control.
  • Oversee all project management initiatives.
  • Responsible for vendor selection and fixed asset budgets.
  • Order and track all supplies using database, spreadsheet, and purchasing software.
  • Interest and motivation to become a participating member of the Administrative team and to produce work that is of satisfactory quality and quantity.
  • Responsible and accountable for own actions, and able to function with a minimum of supervision and in a responsible manner.
  • Able to use problem solving approach.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills and an attitude of teamwork.
  • Accountable for how his/her time is spent daily.
  • Projects a positive attitude and acts in a positive and tactful manner. Portrays a state of professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a purchasing/inventory control position.
  • Must have general working knowledge and understanding of database, spreadsheet and/or purchasing software.
