The Corporate Dialysis Education Coordinator plans, develops, and implements orientation and continuing education material to meet the needs of our staff, patients, and various regulatory agencies.  Continuously monitors and updates educational materials to promote the highest quality patient care and safety through training of clinical and technical staff.

  • Conduct educational needs assessment on an ongoing or evolving basis to plan education programs offered.
  • Develop and maintain written education materials for facility staff and patients including manuals, handouts, and posters based on feedback and monitoring methods.
  • Facilitate and deliver training programs as needed or requested.

  • Develop educational material for clinics to use for on site in-services.
  • Facilitate delivery of training programs, as well as train the trainer for Preceptors.
  • Prepare necessary applications to obtain C.E.U.'s from appropriate agencies when requested or needed for training materials developed.
  • Develop, coordinate, participate, and maintain the ongoing DCI Corporate Education Plan with all disciplines to ensure the educational needs of all employees are met and to comply with regulatory agency requirements.

If any driving responsibilities are assigned, employee is required to maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.




  • Registered Nurse with 5 years of dialysis experience.  Hemodialysis and Home Dialysis experience preferred.
  • Experience as a Clinical Educator preferred.
  • Current state Registered Nurse license.
