Overview

Founded in 1971, Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) remains the nation’s largest non-profit dialysis provider. With a team of approximately 5,000 talented and caring employees serving across the United States, DCI provides care to nearly 15,000 patients on dialysis and 3,500 patients with chronic kidney disease. We offer a variety of services including in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis (PD). Each position within DCI, from billers to administrators to nursing staff, contributes toward the goal of providing excellent patient care. Our staff has helped DCI achieve the lowest mortality and hospitalization rates among large dialysis providers for the past 13 years in a row.

 

The payroll bookkeeper is responsible for accurate and timely completion of payroll and human resource functions.  Accounts payable functions would consist of posting invoices to the correct GL account along with paying invoices in a timely manner.           

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Is knowledgeable of and follows DCI Payroll policies and procedures.
  • Maintains and updates demographic information for existing employees including current address and phone number.
  • Completes payroll processing in accordance with DCI procedures.
  • Runs payroll reports. 
  • Performs other business related duties as assigned.
  • Assist with business office functions as requested.
  • Pay invoices in a timely manner mailing checks each Friday. 
  • Maintain copies of checks and invoices in vendor files. 
  • Work closely with G/L personnel in coding invoices and keeping up with fixed assets.

Qualifications

Education and Experience                                           

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 
  • 3 years related experience and/or training preferred. 
  • Individual should have knowledge of Payroll systems, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
  • Willing to train the right candidate.
