DCI is currently looking for an energetic, self-motivated Dialysis RN to join our Corporate Hosptial Services department in Nashville, TN.


This individual should be committed to excellence and have a quest for knowledge in our ever changing regulatory environment. The ideal candidate must have acute experience, good communication and problem solving skills and be able to translate those skills into assisting our hospital staff and partners with challenges in all operational and clinical areas.


The Hospital Services Corporate Nurse Consultant provides education and training to promote quality patient care, assists acute programs with regulatory compliance and improving outcomes and observes operations for areas of improvement.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:


Quality of Care:

  • Facilitates the improvement of clinical and financial outcomes in assigned DCI Hospital Services programs by helping to develop performance improvement plans based on regulations and policies.
  • Identifies alternative options/problem solving to improve outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Assists in development of transition strategies for new Hospital Services programs to ensure safe patient care and hospital staff support during provider transitions.
  • Assists in development of plans of action required in response to hospital, CMS or accreditation agency survey.
  • Monitors progression of plan of corrections by engaging with local Hospital Services leadership to facilitate improvement.
  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled mock surveys of Hospital Services programs. 



  • Provides education to clinics for individual or group presentations.
  • Serves as mentor to clinic managers with particular emphasis on support for new managers.



  • Facilitates communication between local Hospital Services programs and the DCI Corporate office.
  • Communicates with Hospital Services programs on a regular basis at all assigned facilities.
  • Communicates well with Hospital Services managers and staff using email and conference calls and/or one on one and onsite meetings.


Problem Solving:

  • Facilitates gathering of information and formulating plan for problem solving related to clinical/financial operations of Hospital Services programs.
  • Facilitates unbiased assessment of all angles of problem before formulating solution.



  • Assists with enforcement of a core group of corporate mandated policy and procedures by educating the Hospital Services locations on possible deficiencies.
  • Serves as a resource to clinic on interpretation of Medicare and Accreditation regulations as well as other agencies. 







To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 


Education and/or Experience:

  • Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse
  • Must have 5 years’ relevant experience in acute dialysis care 
  • Management experience preferred  
  • Good computer skills required
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%
  • Relocation to Nashville is required
