  • Overview

    The .Net Software Developer, under the general supervision of a project manager, supervisor or technical architect, develops, tests, and supports new and existing custom applications. The .Net Software Developer is assigned tasks of moderate complexity and receives assistance when necessary from a project manager, technical architect or senior developer. The Software Developer will bring innovative ideas to the attention of his or her project manager, supervisor or technical architect and be encoraged to implement them. The .Net Developer will also demonstrate clear communication skills, have the ability to build good relationships with team members and end users, and possess good problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must in this role.

    • Develop, and test new and existing custom applications
    • Provide end-user application support
    • Update supervisor and/or project managers as needed
    • Attend weekly team meetings
    • Follow all team coding standards
    • Follow documented work schedule policies
    • Develop SQL Stored Procedures
    • Application/Database Design - ERD




    Education and Experience: 


    • Possess one of the following: Associates degree (Computer Science/Information Systems); Bachelor degree (preferably Computer Science/Information Systems)
    • Equivalent software development work experience will also be considered
    • Minimum 2 years of .NET Framework experience required (VB.NET 3.5, VB.NET 4.0, ADO.NET, XAML, WPF, WCF)
    • Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL 2005-12 required 
    • Minimum 2 year of professional experience required with SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports or WebFocus or similar reporting tool
    • Microsoft Visual Studio 2008-12 required
    • Strong analytical background required 
    • Strong customer service skills required
