  • Overview

    The DCI IT Help Desk Agent position is responsible for responding to phone calls and emails submitted to the DCI IT Help Desk.  The IT Help Desk Agent will be logging user support issues and requests into a ticket tracking system, then resolving or routing tickets to the appropriate team members for resolution.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Work on a team of five first line Help Desk agents to log user support issues and requests into a ticket tracking system.
    • Review and analyze the requests and then assign to appropriate team members for resolution.
    • Resolve documented issues within the appropriate time frame, including but not limited to, user account setup.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience:

    • A Bachelor Degree is desired but not required.
    • Windows 7, BMC Footprints, MS Office 2010 applications and Adobe Acrobat are used on a daily basis.
    • Will train the right candidate if necessary. 
    • A minimum of 2 years experience years of IT customer service is desired.

     

     

    Competencies: 

    • Must have strong communication skills as well as be an excellent problem solver.
    • Must possess excellent organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
